Quilty Weekend Inspiration [Issue 1]

Hello Reader,

I wanted to try something a little different, so welcome to the C&V Quilty Weekend Inspiration Newsletter Issue 1!

For the next couple weeks I'll be trying out sending you an email with some of my favorites from the Sewing & Quilting world! Let's get started!

I don't order fabric too often, but I couldn't resist this Strawberry bundle by Kimberly Kight.

I've also been eyeing this Oh Say Can You See bundle at Crimson Confection. I know I missed the 4th of July for any new makes this year, but it's never to late to start on 2026!

Jennifer is also hosting a #slowsummerstitchalong - if you're looking for some hand sewing inspiration!

Speaking of 2026, I did sign up to sew the Stars & Stitches with Deanna of the Log Cabin Quilter. I have a bundle of Stateside by Sweetwater that I've had for a couple years, but I found another here, if you want to make a twin quilt with me!

My friend Nicole is also closing the doors to her last live version of her The Art of Kapa: Mastering Hawaiian Quilting Techniques course. You can read more about Nicole's family Kapa legacy here too, it's so cool!

Speaking of Nicole, she's also a knitting instructor and is hosting a Ready, Set, Sweater! Workshop, if you're also a knitter and would like to expand to sweater making!

I've been refreshing some of the color palettes I use, and just loved scrolling the Design Seeds Instagram feed. Even though it hasn't been updated in a couple years, I just love looking at all the colors!

I missed Amazon Prime Days (oops!), but a few of you have asked if I have an Amazon Storefront now that Joann is closed, I finally got it together and you can find some of my favorite products here.

My friend Rachel of Kohatu Patterns has a 10 for 10 Pattern bundle available until Tuesday, don't miss it!

Julie of Sublime Stitchery has some darling kits to make the Sunsetridge Backpack, it's perfect for summer!

---

I hope you enjoy some of the things I've been enjoying this summer! If you enjoyed this email, please let me know, I'd love to know what you're excited about making from around the quilty web!

Happy Sewing,

Hello Reader, I'm coming to you from my backyard this morning, enjoying a little perfect weather and coffee. I hope you're reading it somewhere equally lovely!
