Quilty Weekend Inspiration [Issue 10]

Hello Reader,

Happy weekend, friends! I've been in the depths of planning the Olivia Sew Along this last week, since it kicks off Monday.

I've taught a few live classes, but never hosted a sew along live, so I'm excited and nervous! Hoping it turns out to be sew much fun. If you want to join us, it's not too late, sign up here!

I shared about buying bias tape st week, but this week I made a bunch myself and shared a little about that too, you can take a peek at my top tips on Instgarm here.

My must have tools for bias tape are a 25mm bias tape maker and my Modern American Vintage Quilter's Clapper. I have used a quilter's clapper before and I loved it, but I was so surprised how much heavier the MAV clapper was, I'll never go back. Oh, and it's pretty cute too!

Another thing I've started collecting is Measure Tape Ribbon, I ordered this one from Amazon and am eyeing a few more on Etsy, I'll share more next week!

Now that cooler weather is here, my sourdough starter is back to work! I think I use sourdough in the most lazy way possible, and I've yet to really master the sourdough loaf. But, during cooler weather you'll find us eating these delicious Sourdough Biscuits with gravy every Saturday!

My other favorite thing about cooler weather is drinking tea again. I love having a nice warm cup of tea in the afternoons, my favorite is this Rishi Turmeric Ginger, it's just the right amount of spice!

Sandi wrote in and shared a podcast she and her husband enjoy listening to when traveling - called Most Notorious. I added it to my playlist but haven't listened yet, I'm looking forward to putting it on during my next sewing session.

Do you have something you'd like to share? Please reply and send it over so I can feature you next week!

If you're new here and want to see the previous Weekend Inspiration posts, I've shared them all here so you can catch up.

I hope you're loving the change of seasons as much as I am!
