Hello Reader, Fall is settling in, but the sunny Olivia Jewelry Case I sewed for the ByAnnie's #SewPink is giving me flashbacks to summer feels! If you've been on the fence about joining us, there's still time, I'd love to get to know you, sign up here! I've been designing new FPP patterns for the C&V Sewing Club and had to share what a difference using newsprint for FPP makes! I cannot believe I wasn't using this for years. I shared my favorite product in my Instagram stories last week and many of you messaged me for a link, so I want to share it here. If you haven't tried Quilter's Select Free Fuse for any non-fusible batting or interfacing, you're missing out! Better than spray baste because there's no aerosol or overspray, I use it all the time and love it! I've shared my love of Zipper Valley before, but they weren't shipping to the US because of the Canadian Postal Strike; shipping has resumed, yay! Head over and grab some strawberry clear vinyl before they sell out! Another thing I share in my Instagram stories that a lot of you messaged me about were my Frownies. I try to wear them every couple of nights, but I definitely notice a big difference when I wear them regularly. With the Olivia Sew Along in progress, I'm sharing my few favorite jewelry pieces over and over again, so I wanted to share a link to my all-time favorite earrings that I wear almost daily: Gold Full Moon Earrings by Balsamroot Jewelry. They're the perfect addition to anything I wear. Lasty, no link for this one, but if you live near Trader Joe's and haven't tried their Pumpkin Pancake Mix, it's in the stores now and our favorite fall treat! I don't have a reader find to share withyou this week, if you have something, we'd love to share it in our next issue! --- If you're new here and want to see the previous Weekend Inspiration posts, I've shared them all here so you can catch up. I hope you're loving the change of seasons as much as I am! Happy Sewing, |

Hello Reader, I'm sharing something a little different this weekend. Instead of some of my favorite sewing and quilting supplies, I want to share a few of my favorite quilty people, who have some things you don't want to miss! Here's a favorite photo from dinner at QuiltCon, where people really are the best part of attending! My friend Jo’s Beginner Quilt Class has just opened for enrollment! In the class students are guided step by step through making their first quilt. By the end of the...
of Hello Reader, QuiltCon was a couple weeks ago now. When people ask what QuiltCon is, I have to mention the shopping because one part is a highly curated gathering of shops! I had to keep my shopping small enough to fit in my carry-on bag, but I still managed to find some great things. Here are the links to all my QuiltCon buys: Our first stop on the first day was the Scanfil Thread. At QuiltCon in Phoenix, a few of us tried Scanfil thread and loved it so much that we made sure to head over...
Hello Reader, It's been a bit of a break since my last Quilty Weekend Inspiration, but I'm excited to be back! I've spent the last two weeks diving in to all the zipper pouches because of the Zipper Pouch Challenge, so I'm sharing all my favorites for making pretty pouches! I also wanted to remind you all, it's time to binge-watch the videos; they expire on Tuesday, February 10th! Make sure to download and save any PDF Patterns you want to keep to your computer. We loved sewing along with...
